Deleting a credential is typically an irreversible action. Remember to consider deleting the credentials with care, keeping in mind the irreversible nature of the action and its potential implications for your integrations and workflows.

Consider the following factors to minimize any potential disruptions and ensure the smooth operation of your integrations before deleting a credential.

  • Carefully review and assess the impact it may have on connected integrations. Ensure that there are no active workflows or dependencies that rely on the credential, as deleting it could lead to disruptions or loss of functionality.
  • Consider the access and authorization rights associated with the credential you intend to delete. Deleting a credential will permanently revoke any access privileges  in the application in granted by that credential. Make sure to evaluate whether the specific credential is still necessary and confirm that there are no other users or workflows that require access.
  • Consider backup or alternative credential available before proceeding with the deletion. This will help mitigate any unexpected issues that may arise during or after the deletion process.
